Volleyball
I refereed two fixtures in the BUCS league this week and a National Cup fixture. The latter was significant for me in that it was the first time that I had officiated in a match involving a top-flight team (Team South Wales). In addition I captained Calne Meteorites in a Wiltshire Mixed League match, which we one convincingly, although the opposition was Devizes Firkins (the third team from Devizes) so we were expected to win. However, we made heavy work of the first set and trailed 22-20 before recovering to win the set and go on to win the match.
Running
I ran 24:14 at the parkrun in Chippenham on Saturday morning; my third best time to date at a parkrun.
